A regular chatbot usually answers basic questions or handles support requests. CartPilot is built for pre-sale shopping assistance. It helps customers search your product catalog, compare options, ask buying questions, and move products to cart.
You can think of it as an AI shopping assistant for WooCommerce and Shopify, designed for product discovery and sales assistance.

Can CartPilot add products to the cart?
Yes. CartPilot can help shoppers add products directly to cart from the conversation. This reduces the number of steps between product discovery and checkout.
Can CartPilot answer product-specific questions?
Yes. CartPilot can answer product questions based on your store’s product data. This helps shoppers get useful answers without manually opening multiple product pages or waiting for a support reply.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade your CartPilot plan as your store grows. If you need more shops, more conversations, more products, or more training items, you can move to a higher plan.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
If you run out of conversations on a monthly or annual plan, you can purchase a credit pack to continue using CartPilot. If you need higher usage every month, upgrading to a higher plan may be a better long-term option.
What counts as a conversation?
A conversation starts when a shopper interacts with CartPilot. A conversation may include multiple messages back and forth.
Do conversations reset every month?
Yes. Monthly conversation limits reset every billing cycle for monthly and annual plans. For example, if your plan includes 400 conversations per month, those conversations refresh at the start of each new billing cycle.
What happens when my conversations run out?
You can purchase a credit pack and continue using CartPilot without immediately upgrading your plan. Credit packs are useful during product launches, seasonal campaigns, paid ad campaigns, and high-traffic periods.
What are credit packs?
Credit packs are add-on conversation credits for monthly and annual CartPilot plans.
Do credit packs expire?
Yes. Credit packs expire 12 months after purchase.
Are credit packs refundable?
No. Credit packs are non-refundable.
Should I upgrade my plan or buy a credit pack?
Buy a credit pack if you only need extra conversations occasionally. Upgrade your plan if you regularly run out of conversations or need higher store, product, or training limits every month.
What is BYOK?
BYOK means Bring Your Own Key. With a BYOK Lifetime plan, you connect your own AI provider API key and use CartPilot without CartPilot-side conversation limits.
How does CartPilot connect to my store?

Does CartPilot support voice interaction?
Yes. Voice interaction is available on Pilot, Growth, Scale, and BYOK Lifetime plans. The Free plan does not include the voice feature.

Can CartPilot compare products?
CartPilot can help shoppers understand product differences and guide them toward a better buying decision based on available product information.
Does CartPilot replace my support team?
CartPilot is designed to add AI sales assistance to your storefront without creating unnecessary friction for shoppers. Actual performance can depend on your hosting, theme, plugins, and store setup.
Will CartPilot work with my theme?
CartPilot is designed to work with standard WooCommerce and Shopify setups. If your store uses a heavily customized theme or checkout flow, testing compatibility is recommended.
